Manage Threats

Once a threat is confirmed the relevant agencies, in consultation with Border Protection Command, will determine the nature of the response.

A decision is made regarding the priority of the response as well as the desired 'end state.' This determines how Border Protection Command will manage the response and the resources required.

Once the task has been completed and the 'end state' achieved Border Protection Command consults with the relevant Commonwealth agencies on any necessary post operation logistics.
