Share Information
Border Protection Command works in conjunction with a number of Commonwealth, State and Territory agencies to collect, analyse and assess information relating to the security of Australia's offshore maritime areas.
Once analysed and assessed, information is shared across a number of Commonwealth, State and Territory agencies as required.
In addition to sharing information between relevant agencies within Australia, Border Protection Command also exchanges relevant organisational information with a number of foreign agencies and Defence Forces.
Border Protection Command is also active in providing information and resources for:
- the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Regional Forum Maritime Security Shore Exercises; and
- the International Maritime Organisation in its role as Australia's Security Forces Authority.
